Our Story

I started Alderbrook to be a valued and trusted advisor for our clients. Over time, that’s grown to include being a helpful and reliable partner to the amazing founders that we back. 

Alderbrook is named after a small fishing camp, built during the 1930s, in upstate New York. It’s a place where generations of family and friends have gathered to form bonds. It exists today because of the hard work, selflessness, and teamwork of the people who built and cared for it over many decades. I view it as a symbol of how, over the long-run, character can create something timeless and special. We aspire to build something similar. 

At Alderbrook, our mission is to provide best-in-class financial consulting services to investors, CEOs, CFOs, business unit leaders, and entrepreneurs. We recognized the need for flexible consulting services, when our first client approached us about a project. We were fortunate to start our business in that client’s office.

To date, we have worked with businesses of various sizes — from pre-revenue start-ups to billion dollar public companies — in a broad range of industries. And we have a growing portfolio of investments.
